It was time to upgrade Cruz out of his little toddler bed. Three years ago we updated Cruz’s room to a big boy room. The move to California hasn’t really let me get fully into decorating as we are still renting but I was excited to give him a big boy bed. We had to continue the surf theme as Cruz has taken so well to surfing and absolutely loves it. Finding the perfect surfboard took time as my husband and I couldn’t seem to agree on the same board for months. I’m loving how his room is still playful and colorful while still having a sense of wonder.

My heart is feeling so many emotions today. The biggest emotion it is feeling is HOPE! I had a talk with Sienna about what this means to her to have a Woman in the White House in such an important role! We spoke about it and she asked why I was crying so much. I explained to her that this would open so many doors for her an all the other little girls who dream to be anything they want to be. She still speaks about the Woman’s March we attended in LA a couple years ago and always asks when we can go back. It’s so important to me to teach her she can anything she wants to be! Dream little girl, dream…. your place is in the revolution!

California Bound.

We are so excited to officially announce that we are moving to California this summer. We are so excited to follow our dream and head out West! Our hearts have been in OC for years now, and it’s now time to follow our hearts.
